Venice Original Oil on Board by Julian Halsby - Original Framed Oil Painting of Basilica Santa Maria Della Salute from Hotel Monaco Venice

An exquisite small oil on board of the Basillica di Santa Maria della Salute, painted from the Hotel Monaco in Venice, by the British artist Julian Halsby RBA. Circa 1990. Held in a fine quality handmade frame with water gilding. Signed Halsby lower left.

The painting is in excellent condition. Framed size 15 1/2” x 12 3/4” (39.5cm x 32.5cm)

Notes on the artist:
Julian Halsby RBA was born in 1948 in London and read History of Art at Emmanuel College, Cambridge. He has written numerous books on art history including ‘Venice - The Artist’s Vision’. As an artist Exhibited at New English Art Club, Royal Society of British Artists and the Royal Academy and London galleries.
