A mid century modern landscape of fields in summer by listed artist Bertil Lindecrantz (1926-1997).

Inspired by classic Scandinavian impressionism, the artist has captured a calm and beautiful landscape in high summer with a view to distant hills. Depth in tone is created by delicate brush strokes and painted sgraffito using the end of the brush to score into the wet paint. Beautifully framed in a box giltwood frame to add depth to the set-back canvas.
