Watching the Sunset- Vintage Scandinavian Modernist Expressionist Painting of Figures on a Beach

A radiant study of figures resting on a beach at dusk by the noted Scandinavian artist Lars Larsson (1915-1993).

The artist has bathed this eyecatching composition in the rich, warm colours of a sunsetting over the horizon.

This original oil on board painting is initialled to the front and signed and dated ‘74 to the reverse.
