A bright and joyful original French School watercolour and gouache painting of three sailboats. Clearly influenced by the Dufy brothers the artist has created a lively scene of sailing, the sea, spontaneously painted in energetic brushstrokes, is broken up by different colours giving great movement. There is no shadow in the painting allowing the artist to envelope the scene in bright colours.
