The artist’s own studio, captured by Swedish artist; Fahle (1906-1989).

A subtle, calm palette is used by the artist, painted in the modernist style of the era. Pictures and frames are stacked ready next to the artist’s easel. A Swedish Gustavian chair completes the scene. Fahle studied in Stockholm and Paris.

Oil on board in excellent vintage condition, signed lower right and dated 1961. Held in its original frame with linen slip. A perfectly proportioned framed painting.
