Still Life of Pears - Vintage Mid Century Modern Scandinavian Original Oil Painting

A still life study of stylised pears by Swedish artist Johny Colebring (1920-2003).

Colebring studied at Valands Konstskola in Gothenburg and during study trips to France and Italy; he had a number of solo exhibitions including in Gothenburg and Visby, and participated in a number of group exhibitions at the Konsthallen in Gothenburg and in Antibes in France. Colebring was celebrated as a still life and landscape artist. Examples of his work are held at the National Museum in Stockholm and Gothenburg Art Museum.
