Small Venetian Scene Painting - Vintage Miniature Oil on Copper Painting of Bridge of Sighs in Venice by Jan Deyer

An exquisite miniature painting of the famous view of the Bridge of Sighs in Venice, Italy. A sailboat and gondolas pass before the bridge with light and shadow highlighting the famous buildings and white of the bridges spanning this Venetian scene.

Oil on copper by the Dutch artist Jan Deyer who was born at the end of the 19th Century and was painting into the 20th century. Held in a later made high quality gold and blue painted wooden frame. Signed lower left.

The painting is in very good vintage condition with some varnish discolouration to the sky.
