Reflections - Small Abstract Scandinavian Vintage Oil Painting

A small abstract oil landscape painting by the Swedish listed artist Sune Skote (born 1919). The artist has captured trees and water in the abstract form.

The artist first exhibited in the National Museum’s exhibition from 1948-1953, before continuing to exhibit in both solo and group exhibitions throughout the 1950s. Skote is best known for his non-figurative abstract paintings and coastal landscapes from Central Sweden and Rhodes, Greece predominately painted in oils. His works are held in the public collections of the Moderna Museet in Stockholm.
