ON HOLD A mid century modern oil on board of an enchanting winter scene - a young child in a red hat pulls a tobaggan back home through the snow at the end of the day.

Trees line the route leading the eye to almost cubist red and brown buildings layered in the distance. A pinky lilac evening sky with the last hints of clear blue adds to the delightful colour palette created with thick impasto in multi directional textured brush strokes.

Indistinctly signed lower left, circa 1950/60. Held in its original vintage frame. An eye catching picture, perfectly sized.
