Meadow View - Vintage Swedish Framed Oil on Panel Landscape by the listed artist Einar Palme (born 1901).

A serene view featuring trees and wildflowers in the foreground before picket fenced meadows dotted with hay stooks, under an impressionist cloud-scudded blue sky, the artist has painted en plein air capturing a calm and beautiful landscape in high summer with delicate greens, and hints of yellow and white in the wildflowers; a soft almost muted colour palette with an unvarnished finish.

• Signed and dated 1935 to front
•Original burnished antique gold finished frame - some scuffs as expected for age.
