A beautiful Post Impressionist original Oil painting by listed Swedish artist Ernst Leonard (born 1899) of almond trees in blossom set before pink-hued almost cubist buildings bathed in the evening Spring light.

This original oil on board painting is in very good vintage condition. Signed, and inscribed Capri, April 1955 lower right. An enchanting painting capturing Spring. Held in a high quality traditional wood and gesso frame with silver/gilt finish, age related toning.
