Notes on the artist:
Neil Murison (1930–2018) British artist, who lived in the West of England and used his travels to capture nature ‘Each trip prompts its own response and becomes responsible for a series of paintings which reflect the memory of that experience. Work based around the life figure is also an important part of the work' He has held more than 40 solo shows since 1962 and his work also features in private collections held by the Bank of America, Oxford University, the Government of Portugal and Bath University. He worked in acrylic, using it sometimes like watercolour and sometimes opaquely like oil, but always rich in colour.
