Ballerinas - Vintage Oil on Board

Ballerinas - A delightful oil on board of classical ballerinas at a ballet school. Circa 1960. The artist has used a muted, flat colour palette of pinks, white and blue. Light from the window casts a blue light across the floor, highlighting the two ballerinas sat on chairs waiting to perform whilst a third ballerina stretches at the barre in the background. 

Condition - oil on board: some minor marks and scratches as expected for age but overall in very good condition and highly decorative

Frame - a vintage wooden frame repainted in a chalky finish with a dusky pink overall effect due to the red undertone colour of the frame. The frame could be repainted to suit.
