Autumn Pear - A Small Oil on Canvas of a Pear, Scandinavian Vintage Framed Painting

A beautifully painted vintage Scandinavian impressionistic study of a pear set amongst autumnal colours. The colour and texture of the pear is built up by the artist using layers of impasto, with falling light highlighting the shape of the pear. Fluid shapes in autumnal colours form an expressionist background.
